It would be great to know which restaurants were doing something special but I'm lazy...if anyone knows, please feel free to send that info along! Where the dollah shots at?!?!

"Another event tomorrow: apparently La Rosa is having a big celebration, and taking over the space at Ka'va next door to accommodate the over 21 crowd."

Cinco de Mayo at the Bend Library

A Cinco de Mayo event will be held at the Bend Library from 2:30-5 on Saturday, May 5, 2007. Included in this event will be music and Edgar Sanchez performing a traditional dance called La Danza del Viejito. Various agencies from Deschutes County will be joining this event including the Latino Community Association, Plaza Comunitaria and Bend-La Pine School District's Welcome Center.
